The Partnership Project of CreditBPO and DTI-NCRO
A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed between Lia Francisco, CEO/Founder of CreditBPO Tech Inc. and Marcelina S. Alcantara, Regional Director of Department of Trade and Industry-National Capital Regional Office (DTI-NCRO) in order to finalize the partnership project between CreditBPO and DTI-NCRO. Officials by both companies witnessed the event. CreditBPO and DTI-NCRO have decided to jointly plan and implement events and programs that support Small & Medium Enterprises ("SMEs").
CreditBPO and DTI-NCRO held the virtual signing to document their partnership. Here, Ms. Francisco and Ms. Alcantara first displayed the first page of the signed MOA.
According to Ms. Alcantara, every project detail including the responsibilities, priorities, and phases planned by DTI-NCRO and CreditBPO for the next year, was specified. To start things off, CreditBPO will be conducting orientations starting December 13, 2021 with the Negosyo Center Business Counselors (NCBCs) as they are on the frontlines in NCR's 17 cities. The NCBCs will be keeping watch for any upcoming plan, program, or training that DTI will be doing. They are the ones to invite the SME participants who will attend - based on the set criteria and eventually collaborate with DTI in order to better grow. The coverage goal is to ensure that every region has a DTI presence. These DTI offices are dedicated to helping a business grow, despite the follow ups that may be needed. The NCBCs will personally contact the participants for reminders about CreditBPO and how it can help their business. Having this can be exceptionally beneficial for assisted SMEs. DTI welcomes CreditBPO on this project as SMEs have different needs.
The project targets small, medium, and large enterprises. The surviving large enterprises in particular need financing to recover from pandemic losses with some facing severe enough losses to break them back down to medium size. DTI will review its timetable as there may be activities that are not allowed during the election ban.
This partnership recognizes the role of DTI-NCRO as the primary economic catalyst of the government in enabling innovative, competitive, job-generating, inclusive businesses and consumer empowerment. To support this role, CreditBPO aims to be an essential partner to Philippine SMEs in the pursuit of business growth by leveraging information technology to improve their visibility, operational efficiency, and creditworthiness.
CreditBPO appreciates this partnership as a chance for SMEs to improve their businesses and access business opportunities. CreditBPO is looking forward to a productive relationship with DTI-NCRO in achieving the goals for this pilot project.
